Esta página nace en respuesta al creciente interés en este tipo de material y en la necesidad de organizar un poco el trabajo que realiza gran cantidad de gente en la preparación y distribución de estos libros, así que mi agradecimiento es para ellos.
Intentaré actualizar esta página cada 15 días aproximadamente, si aparece nuevo material. También recopilaré otra serie de cosas que puedan ser de interés.
Si tienes algo que aportar, libros de arquitectura, CD's, fotografías de proyectos, artículos................, no dudes en colgarlo, seguro que hay alguien que está interesado..

Para leer estas revistas necesitas el visor gratuito zinio reader que te puedes descargar aquí : http://www.zinio.com/
Si quieres pasar este formato a pdf, necesitarás seguir los siguientes pasos:
1. Get Adobe Acrobat Pro.
2. Make sure the Adobe PDF printer is NOT the default printer. This is
imperative to the ripping process.
3. Starting with the first page (cover), hit Ctrl+P in Zinio.
4. Select Adobe PDF from the printer drop-down menu.
5. Print the page and save in some sequential order, for example 001.pdf
6. Repeat for each page (excluding advertisement pages) of the magazine.
7. Open Adobe Acrobat.
8. Go to File --> Create PDF --> From Multiple Files…
9. Click Browse, go to directory where you saved the printed PDFs.
10. Select all the files (click on the first one, hold down shift and click on
the last one)
11. Make sure files are arranged in order
12. Create PDF

and discovered the face of the modern corporate city. In this highly personal
account, Hughes follows in Mies' footsteps looking at how an architect who began

international modernism - the architect of light and space.
Mies is the father of the contemporary vogue for loft living - what he was

nominado dos veces a un Oscar de la Academia y ganador de numerosos

El programa narra la biografía de este hombre cuyos diseños
revolucionarios han ofrecido diferentes visiones en la arquitectura de los
años comprendidos entre 1860 y 1950.
Frank Lloyd Wright fue un genio visionario que diseñó cerca de 800
edificios entre los que se encuentran las más importantes construcciones
de su país, y cuyo trabajo ha influido en los más importantes movimientos
arquitectónicos. Wright se creía un héroe de la arquitectura que llegaba
para diseñar el mundo de nuevo, nunca se puso límites. En su trabajo era
absorbente, generoso, arrogante, sarcástico, romántico, tortuoso,
visionario, conservador y siempre brillante. Odiado por algunos y adorado
por muchos, al final se convirtió en lo que siempre quiso ser, el más
famoso arquitecto de América, algunos dicen del mundo.
El documental presenta su más completo trabajo, y nos traslada a la vida
y tiempos que le tocó vivir repasando también su turbulenta vida privada,
Wright se casó 3 veces y tuvo 7 hijos. El documental recoge el testimonio
de historiadores, arquitectos, familiares y biógrafos para aunar la carrera
completa de este brillante arquitecto, siendo el primer programa
biográfico que tiene acceso a los archivos de la Fundación Frank Lloyd
Wright, y que da respuesta a las preguntas más fundamentales acerca de
la arquitectura.
El documental ha sido galardonado con premios como Golden Space
Needle Award al mejor documental en el Festival Internacional de Cine de
Seattle (1998); Silver Plaque en el Concurso de Televisión Internacional
de Chicago (1998) o el Premio Peabody.
